Session fee - $150 (up to 6 people)

The session fee covers my time to schedule, prep, drive to and from, and take your pictures. It covers my time to sort, edit, and create your online gallery. The session fee is non-refundable, but very transferrable. It must be paid in full to secure your appt time.

Professional lab quality prints and individual digital images are available starting at $5 Custom designed albums, announcements, Christmas cards, and many other products may also be purchased.

WA state sales tax and shipping costs will be added to your order. Print price lists are available here.

All pricing is subject to change without prior notification. Your prices will be locked in at the time your session fee is paid.

Digital images and traditional prints are offered in a la carte form so you can buy just what you want. Christmas cards, announcements, standout prints, post cards, accordion albums, and traditional albums are also available. The sky is the limit for what can be custom designed and ordered. I am here because I love to take photos. I love to capture life, personality, and everyday moments. I am married to the best man in the whole world, second only to Jesus. I have two great kids who keep me busy and love me just the way I am. What a blessing! I live in north Snohomish County, which we call God's country. It is gorgeous here. When not behind the camera, I like shopping, chasing garage sales, playing games, reading, watching my DVR, enjoying the great outdoors, drooling over houzz and spending time with my family and friends.

I am an on-location, natural light photographer. I prefer to capture you and your family, as you are, not posed in your Sunday-best, with fresh faces, tangle-free hair, looking straight at the camera with plastic smiles. I like to capture the everyday moments that bring you joy, and that will make you smile at the memory each time you look at the photograph; the Kool-Aid smiles, the milk-mustaches, the smudged faces. I welcome the opportunity to attend your child's backyard birthday party, meet your family at the zoo to capture the wonder in your child's eyes, or record the smiles from your day at the beach. I will meet you at your family's favorite location to capture those natural moments as they happen. I think engagement photos and senior pictures are perfect excuses for a day at the park.

My style is modern, casual, fun and fresh.

Why custom photography?
I love to capture you having fun. Outdoors. Naturally. I spend time getting to know you and your kids and what works for them. I play games and make funny faces. (most husbands even enjoy their sessions!) I strive to capture the genuine realtionships. I embrace the fact that kids act like kids. And that is okay. This is an experience very different than the portrait studios. And, traditionally, it costs more. You will love the images. It's worth it!!

What does the session fee cover? and not cover?

What to expect?
Pre-session consult - once you have paid your session fee to reserve your appt time, we will begin brainstorming all the details. I love details. We will cover what to wear, where to have your pics taken, where you should hang them in your home, and everything in between. This pre-session consult can be done online, on the phone, or in person.

The session itself - will last between 45-60 minutes with lots of breaks for playing, stretching, snacking, etc ( I am a mom and know that this is imperative to happy kids).

What happens next?
After the session - the real fun begins.I will begin the sorting and editing process, which can take up to 3 weeks during the busy season. Your pictures will then be posted in a private password protected online gallery. You will receive an email containing your password that you will be able to share with friends and family. Your gallery will be live for 10 days and you (and your friends and family) can order online anytime during that period. An additional fee of $25 to reactivate your gallery may be charged if it has expired.

After your order is placed and paid for, I will order the prints from the lab. Please allow 2 weeks for delivery.

What if it rains? or my child gets sick?
This is the Pacific NW and I know the weather can be tricky. It usually doesn't rain sideways all day, so I try to be flexible with timing and keep the shoot on the same day. You have already prepared for the session, and I know that is a lot of work!! Keep in mind that just because its raining at your place, doesn't mean its raining at the shoot location. Sometimes we get creative with rain boots and umbrellas or an alternate location. But, if its just crazy weather, we will definitely reschedule your appt.

I have kids, I know sickness comes at the most unfortunate times. If you, or someone in your family is sick, I would be happy to reschedule your appt. Please call me with as much notice as possible. I will do my best to find another time during the same month that works for you. Please note in my busy months, I am sometimes booked out 2 months ahead.

Prints are mounted on 2mm thick styrene. They can be displayed with a frame or without.
They can mount directly on the wall and are great for shelves.
They are coated and can hang anywhere without worry. I have many samples to show you and a blog post with steps on how to hang, just ask.
